It seems that Toyota has heard our prayers and finally the GR Supra range has to its credit an expected access version that delivers 258 hp. The prayers of many have just been satisfied after the announcement of the new GR Supra access. It is true that many others will pull their hair out when they hear that the Japanese sports car lowers its power to 258. A performance that it achieves thanks to the 2.0 Turbo four-cylinder engine and which is accompanied by a maximum torque of 295 lb-ft.

The arrival of this 258 hp Toyota GR Supra implies the premiere of a new trim level, 2.0, which will be exclusive to it, thus leaving the Performance only for the 340 hp 3.0. Its standard equipment is quite complete, including 18-inch darkened alloy wheels, Full LED headlights, keyless entry and start, heated sports seats, instrument panel and 8.8-inch Toyota Touch central screen, to which is added the Toyota Supra Safety package.
In short, Toyota does not want to forget its historic sporting past and, despite the effort that this entails, it has a sensational 'racing' range (long live the GR Yaris!), which will soon be expanded with the new GR 86 and perhaps with the GR Corolla. We just have to applaud not only this Supra but GR in general for bringing more excitement to the Toyota brand.
