We took a look at a base 997-gen Carrera on Clutch Kick: https://youtu.be/q50pB62lZFM
The video summarizes everything pretty well but here are the highlights.
The front end of the car feels light, and it is. Its main appeal is the insane amount of rear end traction that becomes very apparent during corner exit. It's a very unique feeling vehicle. There is also something magical about Porsches. The throttle calibration, pedal placement, and driving position, all these things are extremely well thought out. My interest has definitely been piqued and I would like to drive more variants.
